VST-walls are made of two 24 mm thick cement-bound particle boards, which are connected to each other by our own specially developed steel spacers. The spacers are connected to the cement-bonded particle boards from the inside with galvanised countersunk screws, without penetrating the surface of the elements. This preserves the ready-to-paint surface of the VST-walls.
On the construction site, concrete is poured between the cement-bonded particle boards. The concrete bonds with the cement-bonded particle boards which are thus not removed but become part of the building as stay-in-place formwork.
The overall thickness of a wall element (architect’s measurements) is the thickness of the concrete core plus 24 mm for the cement-bound particle boards on each side.
Cut-outs and openings are made in the factory. The installation of empty electrical piping as well as sanitary and heating piping is also possible in the factory. The maximum weight of a VST-wall is approx. 70 kg per square metre without reinforcement and without installation parts.
The inner wall formwork serves as edge support for the slab, so that no additional edge support is required.

Due to the solid construction method in which a jointless structure is produced in the final state, good sound insulation values are achieved for all wall widths offered by VST. Key figures
VST slabs are made of a 24 mm thick cement-bonded particle board on which special steel trapezoidal profile supports are screwed on in the factory. The height of the trapezoidal profiles is uniformly 50 mm and the total thickness of the slab element is 75 mm (irrespective of the thickness of the concrete layer). The axial distance of the trapezoidal profiles is 40 cm.
The trapezoidal profiles are screwed into the cement-bonded particle board from above using galvanised countersunk screws without penetrating the surface of the slab element, thus preserving the ready-to-paint surface of the VST-slab.
The additional reinforcement is installed on site and the VST-slab is concreted out. The concrete bonds with the cement-bonded particle board which is thus not removed but becomes part of the building as stay-in-place formwork.
Without reinforcement, the maximum weight of the VST-slab is approx. 38 kg per square metre. The round steels used for the slab elements can be counted as tensile reinforcement (9.93 cm²/m). The thickness of the concrete layer can be freely determined according to static requirements.

VST – Stairs
The stringers and the underside of the VST-stairs consist of 24mm thick cement-bonded particle boards. The risers consist of removable wooden formwork. The reinforcement is already installed at the factory. On the construction site, the stairs are concreted out, and the concrete core bonds with the cement-bonded particle boards. The wooden formwork is removed.
VST-stairs can be ordered in any size and can be quickly and easily assembled on site at an early stage of construction. This means that the use of ladders can be partly dispensed with during construction, which reduces the risk of accidents on the construction site. VST staircases can be combined with various sound insulation solutions.

VST-columns consist of four cement-bonded particle boards, which are connected to each other by angles. The reinforcement is provided at the factory. VST-columns can be manufactured in any dimensions (e.g. rectangular or square ground plan). Various punching heads are available to increase resistance to punching. At the construction site, the columns are filled with concrete, whereby the concrete core bonds with the cement-bonded particle board.

VST-beams consist of three cement-bonded particle boards, which are connected to each other by angles. The reinforcement can already be installed in the factory. The dimensions of the VST-beams are freely selectable. On site, the beams are fastened to the adjacent slab elements and concreted out, whereby the concrete bonds with the cement-bonded particle board.
VST-beams have fire protection class A2-s1, d0.
A wide range of tested applications and solutions allow the complete construction of the raw superstructure. The VST composite formwork elements can be combined with each other and thus allow a continuous solution in all areas.

We offer the assembly of the VST-elements on the construction site, up to the construction of the entire raw superstructure. Depending on the region, the assembly can also be carried out by our selected partners who already have many years of experience with the VST system.
We train your personnel directly on your construction site. The VST Group provides a supervisor on the customer’s construction site. The customer’s entire team learns how to install the VST system from an expert on site.
This is a wage service that does not include any elements of the construction site equipment. Agreement must be reached on accommodation and transport on site. Supervisors submit themselves to the locally valid safety and health protection plan as well as to the local site management. Instructions of the supervisors refer only to the assembly training. A manual on the basics of VST assembly will be handed over in the course of training.
